At
Ace Decor, we respect the wishes of our customers to remain free
from intrusive offers, via telephone, email or letter. With this in
mind, any data collected from our clients will be stored for and used
only by Ace Decor. If a client wishes to be placed in contact with a
third party, their details will only be released with their express permission. |

1. |
We
aim to provide a written quotation within 7-14 days of our visit to
survey the works required. (This may seem a long period to wait, but
time passes very quickly when running a small business.) |

|
|
2. |
We
can obviously only quote for the works advised at the time of the
survey. Should our quotation be accepted, the work started, but then
extra works advised, these would be charged for. Extra works will not
be commenced unless the client agrees to the additional costs. (We
had a customer a few years ago who advised numerous small extras and
was then upset when our invoice was higher than the original quote.) |

We
will endeavour to fit in appointments for quotations at short
notice, but cannot always guarantee to do so. |

4. |
Generally
speaking we provide quotes for work free of charge, but reserve the
right to charge for insurance claim quotations. |

5. |
Our
quotes are valid for acceptance for three months, after which they
may need to be reviewed. |
|
|
|
|
6. |
Prospective
clients need to bear in mind that unforeseen circumstances may
occasionally prevent us from starting work on the date originally
agreed or finish on the target date. However, we give our absolute
assurance that a client will be informed in advance of any delays. We
realise that circumstances also change for clients and will endeavour
to accommodate timetable alterations to the best of our ability. |

7. |
Should
our quote(s) be accepted, a VAT invoice will be issued on completion
of the works, payable within 14 days. We would expect payment within
14 days even if the work forms part of an insurance claim and the
insurance company has not settled the claim by that time. |

8. |
Ace
Decor is a member of the British Decorators' Association and is
required to guarantee its work against failures due to its defective
workmanship for a period of six months from completion of the work.
Our commitment to customer service makes this guarantee superfluous,
but we thought we'd mention it anyway. |

9. |
Ace
Decor have Public Liability insurance cover for £1,000,000. |
